06 — OUR STORY
From the experiences of a place to a shared vision for its future.
We saw the inequalities in access to education, technology, resources and opportunity — and formed a belief that every individual should have the chance to learn, innovate and build a better future.
Technology revealed a world that could connect people, create opportunity and become a powerful tool for social and economic change.
Conflict, the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2019 Easter attacks and economic hardship reinforced the need for a diverse, resilient economy built on new industries.
A conviction that a strong startup and MSME ecosystem can drive economic development became a practical beginning.
SPM Technologies, Academy, Renewables and Foundation work across technology, education, energy and social development — supporting people from ideas to opportunity.
Our journey has only begun. We invite entrepreneurs, innovators, businesses, investors and partners to build the future with us.
